Journey to Cinema

In a world where images are created every second, the JEONJU International Film Festival strives to provide authentic film viewing experiences. This lecture series features film scholars and critics who guide audiences beyond merely “watching” films to truly “understanding” them, offering diverse interpretations and context about film history.

  • Each session runs for 60 minutes following the film screening.
  • Admission: KRW 12,000 (includes film screening)

2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz and 40 years since the world premiere of Shoah. Following a viewing of All I Had Was Nothingness, which features previously unreleased footage from Shoah, renowned critic Jung Sung-il offers insights into this Holocaust documentary.
