Smith takes the piss out of mainstream auteurist ego, but provides proof of the underground ethos: Even with meagre mechanical means, the artist can command the universe.

Reality has transformed into a film set as various people move through the streets of London, their actions captured by an observant voice. These passersby become unwitting protagonists in a story they have no idea they are participating in. (Sung MOON)
